Hiring a Nanny

After you have done your homework and decided what you really need in terms of a nanny and why, you’re ready to start the hiring process!

Write an ad. Whether or not you are going to place one, you’ll be talking to more people than you imagined about your nanny, and if you have an ad that you wrote yourself, on a three by five card, or typed out on a piece of paper by your telephone, you’ll be quicker to explain exactly what you want – and not ramble on and waste time. Also be clear on what you do not want in a nanny.
